Great review, man.

I totally agree, that series is unforgettable.

The only moot point for me was the explanation for how their factions world came to be. It felt unsatisfactory, like Veronica was clawing at straws for a reason behind everything. It reduced the entire world we knew in Divergent #1 to just a city in the US. And for me, reduced the characters to pawns playing a game for the other humans I don't care about, (I mean, cameras everywhere? Other dudes watching everything going on?) it's hard to put into words but it just felt wrong.

Asides that, I totally loved the story and it's one I'll definitely recommend, everytime.

Veronica Roth is SHE.

Funny thing is I was kind of forced into reading it, but I ended up enjoying every part. The tension pulled me in way more than I expected. That ending though… it broke me, but I weirdly respected it. Tris had always been the one to put herself on the line sha. Not the happy ending I secretly wished for, but it felt real.
